I did a little experimenting the other day. I've been seeing lots of crinkle fry recipes made in a waffle iron, but everyone I've tried never comes out like the pictures! After my last soggy failure, I thought I'd give up, but I had one of those wonderful "What if I..." moments, and this recipe was born. It was a, thinking out-of-the-box and into-the-blender, epiphany and boy did it turn out just perfectly delicious!
A delicious blend of crinkle fries, waffle mix, and bacon, sure to make your mouth happy. I topped these yummy creations with fried chick. and eggs. You can't go wrong with that!
1 cup Wood's Maple Buttermilk Pancake Waffle mix
¼ cup milk whole milk
Fried chicken (optional)
Add sour cream and milk and blend.
Add Wood's buttermilk pancake waffle mix and blend.
Blend 2 eggs in a ninja.
Add 3 cups frozen crinkle fries - blend 1 cup at a time.
Add ¾ cups of cooked bacon and blend.
Pour batter into the waffle maker that's hot. Cook until golden brown.
Note:I LOVE fried chicken on my waffles, so this yummy treat got one for a topper!
