Caramelized and crispy, this uniquely delicious dish will keep you come back to this recipe again and again.

  

EQUIPMENT

  • Large roasting pan
  • Mixing bowl

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound Brussel sprouts, trimmed.
  • 1/4 cup olive oil.
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup.
  • 4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  • Place Brussel sprouts, olive oil, maple syrup, bacon, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Toss to coat, until everything is mixed.
  • Place mixture into a roasting pan.
  • Roast pan in the oven for about 45 minutes until bacon is crispy and the brussle sprouts are cooked through. Be sure to stir 20 minutes in.

TO SERVE:

  • Serve as a side, snack, or main dish.

Pro-tip: melt goat cheese on top of served bowl. You'll thank me later.
