¾ cup butter
½ cup firm packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 ¼ cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup maple syrup
½ cup chopped walnut (optional)
Cream butter and sugar
Beat in egg and vanilla
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt 
Add to creamed mixture alternating with maple syrup
Fold in nuts
Scoop 2 tbsp on to parchment paper or greased pan
Sprinkle with Maple Sprinkles (Crunchin)
Bake 8 – 10 mins 400 degrees F
