Traditional maple syrup with a strong smell and taste of smoke. Through the hickory, pairing is a Syrup that is more designed for the cooking side. An experiment we had turned into a cooking breakthrough, my son came across an amazing invention.
Heres what he did:
1. Boil down the syrup so you get a glaze texture to it, now you only want to cook the syrup till it gets a little thicker cause if you cook it long it can harden! He learned the hard way :)
2. Cook the salmon the way you like, add the glaze on top of the salmon and cover it with tinfoil. Put it in the oven for only 5 minutes to allow the flavoring from syrup to enter the Salmon.
3. Eat it!!
