After tasting how awesome bourbon barrel-aged was, I had to try aging some syrup in a rum barrel. I called my good friends at Mad River Distilling for some rum barrels. Rum barrel-aged syrup has hints of vanilla and butterscotch! It is my favorite on french toast!
