Irresistible Sausage Cream Cheese Crescent Bake with Smokey Ghosted Maple

Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage meat
- 2 (8 oz.) cans of Crescent Rolls
- 1 (8 oz.) block Cream Cheese
- 1 tablespoon Wood's Smoked Maple Syrup
- 1 tablespoon Wood's Ghosted Maple Syrup
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
Directions
- Cook the sausage meat in a frying pan over medium heat until it is no longer pink. Use a spatula or turner to break it up into small pieces as it cooks.
- Drain off any grease. Use a paper towel to soak up grease that did not drain.
- Add the smoked and ghosted maple syrup.
- Add the block of cream cheese into the warm sausage meat. Stir and break it up until it melts completely. Add the grated cheddar cheese.
- Preheat oven to 350° F and spray a baking sheet with spray or line it with parchment paper.

- Unroll one package of crescent roll dough onto a greased pan. Pinch the seams together to create a solid base with no gaps.
- Spread the warm sausage, cheese and syrup mixture evenly over the base dough layer. This layering is key to every bite being packed with flavor.
- Unroll the second dough package and place it over the filling. Carefully pinch the seams of the top and bottom dough layers together, sealing the delicious filling inside.
- Bake for 14-16 minutes until the crust is golden and flaky. The aroma will be irresistible!
