2026 Summer fun has officially arrived at Wood’s.

If you’ve been looking for a reason to get out, bring the kids, meet up with friends, or just enjoy a cold drink somewhere that feels a little different from your everyday stop, we’d love to have you come visit the Sap Shack at the Wood’s Sugar House.

Think old-fashioned soda fountain fun, Vermont maple charm, and a summer hangout all rolled into one.

The Sap Shack will be serving up genuine Vermont dirty sodas from June 6 through October 12, with cold drinks, good vibes, maple treats, snacks, and plenty of reasons to stay awhile.

And if you’re still wondering what a dirty soda is, don’t worry — I had the same question.

The easiest way to explain it is this: it’s a fun, fizzy drink mixed with flavored syrups, cream, fruit, or other add-ins to make a custom treat. It reminds me of the old soda bars where you could get a root beer float — sweet, creamy, bubbly, and just plain fun — only with a modern twist.
