Wood's EASY Maple Upside-Down Apple Coffee Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 ½  cups chopped peeled apples
  • 1 can (12.4 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Cinnamon Rolls with Original Icing (8 Count)
  • ½ cup pecan halves or pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ⅓ cup Wood's Maple Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Wood's Apple Pie Maple Syrup

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350° F.
  2. Spray a 9-inch glass pie pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Spread 1 cup of the apples in sprayed pan.
  4. Separate dough into 8 rolls. Cut each roll into quarters; place in a large bowl.
  5. Add remaining ½ cup apples and pecans.
  6. In a small bowl, combine butter, Wood's Maple Sugar, and Wood's Apple Pie Maple Syrup; mix well.

  7. Add sugar mixture to dough mixture; stir gently to combine. Spoon mixture over apples in pan.

  8. Bake at 350° F. for 35 to 38 minutes or until deep golden brown.
  9. Cool for 5 minutes.
  10. Invert onto a serving platter.
