Strawberry Habanero Margarita

Ingredients

1 ½ oz. silver tequila

¾ oz. lime juice

3 fresh strawberries, 2 to smash, and 1 reserved for garnish

¾ oz. Wood's Dark Robust Maple Syrup

1-3 slice Habanero (Shaw's didn't have one so I used another hot pepper)
Directions
Pour the salt onto a flat surface. Run the cut side of a strawberry around the rim of the glass and gently press into the salt on all sides.
Muddle the strawberries and habanero (or hot pepper of your choice) in a shaker.
Add tequila, lime juice, Maple Syrup, and ice.
Shake and strain into your rimmed glass.
