1/4 oz Wood's Smoked Maple Syrup
4-5 dashes of black walnut bitters
2oz of Michters us1 whiskey or Michters Rye bourbon.
1 orange peel
Add all ingredients to a glass with ice. Stir for 30 seconds then strain in to a rocks or old fashion glass with ice of choice.
For the garnish and extra flavor, use orange peel and take a flame to the skin Of the peel then express the oils over the flame in to the glass. This will give a brûlée’ taste and effect on the oils and really ties the cocktail together. Then place the peel in the drink for garnish
