Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 4 medium chicken breasts cut into strips)
- 1¼ cups sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic black pepper
- 2 (10.5 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup
- 4 oz. can of mushroom pieces or the equivalent
- of sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons Wood's Vermont Ghosted Maple Syrup***
- 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1¼ cups Ritz crackers (crushed)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Directions
- Add cream of chicken soup, sour cream, Ghosted maple syrup, and mushrooms to the slow cooker. Mix everything together.
- Place chicken in the sauce and completely coat.
- In a small bowl, add Ritz crackers, ½ tsp black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and butter. Mix everything together and evenly spread it over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on high for 2½ to 3½ hrs or on low for 6 to 7 hours.
- Serve while hot over rice.
