🥦 Sweet & Spicy Cauliflower Broccoli Salad with Maple-Bacon Dressing
Albert Wood
This is the salad that upstages the main course — bursting with texture, flavor, and a maple-sweet, bacon-rich dressing everyone will ask about.
Say goodbye to boring salads. This one’s crunchy, creamy, smoky, tangy, and just a little sweet thanks to Wood’s Maple Sugar and a dash of Ghosted Maple Syrup. Toss in crispy bacon, mozzarella, and juicy grapes, and you've got a cold veggie salad so good even the carnivores will fight for seconds.
💡 Notes & Tips
- Feeds a crowd — great for weddings, church suppers, and holiday tables
- To make ahead: prep the salad and dressing separately and mix just before serving
- Use vanilla or bourbon maple syrup if you want a milder version (less heat)
- Add toasted pecans or sunflower seeds for crunch!
🍁 Why Use Wood’s Maple Sugar & Ghosted Syrup?
- ✅ Natural sweetness with no refined sugar
- ✅ Dissolves easily into creamy dressings
- ✅ Ghosted Syrup adds flavor-forward heat, not burn-your-face spice
- ✅ Made in small batches from 100% Vermont maple syrup
💬 Final Forkful
This isn’t your grandma’s broccoli salad (but she’ll want the recipe). It’s bold, sweet, smoky, and just a little wild — perfect for feeding the masses or hoarding for leftovers.
