Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) bag egg noodles
2 lbs. ground beef
2 cans Campbell’s tomato soup
2 cans Campbell’s cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
3 tablespoons Wood’s Maple Sugar
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 lb. sliced American cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350° F.

Egg noodles —

In a large pot, boil water to prepare egg noodles. Cook as directed.
When the noodles are cooked to your liking, drain and add them back to the pot, then mix in 2 cans of concentrated cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup, stirring well.

Beef —

In a medium-sized skillet, brown the ground beef.
Add spices, maple sugar, and tomato soup (concentrated from the can) and stir well.

The Build —

Spoon a layer of your meat mixture in a large, deep casserole dish, spreading evenly. Top with a layer of sliced American cheese.
Next, spoon a layer of the noodle mixture on top, spreading evenly.
Top the noodles with another layer of American cheese.
Next, add another layer of your meat mixture, repeating the process until you come to the top of your casserole dish. The last layer should be a noodle layer. How many layers you do will depend on the depth of your casserole dish.
Bake for 35-45 minutes until it begins to bubble and the noodles on top begin to brown.
