Maple Roasted Spicy Rosemary Nuts

The perfect savory snack to get you going and bridge the gap between lunch and dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups mixed nuts (I used pecans, walnuts, cashews, and almonds)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ cup pure Wood’s Vermont Maple Syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Wood’s Ghosted Maple Syrup
  • (use any of our flavors - SmokedVanilla, etc)
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 ½ tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped (I used 1 tablespoon dried rosemary), divided
  • Sea salt, for sprinkling

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

  2. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, maple syrups, cayenne pepper, and 1 tablespoon of rosemary.

  3. Add the nuts and stir until coated.

  4. Pour mixture onto a baking sheet and spread evenly Bake for ten minutes then stir. 

  5. Bake for another 5-10 minutes until the nuts are golden brown and fragrant.

  6. Remove from the oven and toss with an additional 1½ teaspoons of rosemary and sea salt to taste.

  7. Cool nuts to room temperature and store them in an airtight container.
